Ordering and payment

How do I pay?

At checkout, through Razorpay: UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets. Every order is paid in full before it is dispatched, and the charge is made in Indian rupees — the currency switcher shows a converted figure for reference only.

We do not offer cash on delivery. If a delivery agent asks you for money, refuse and tell us.

Payment, in the terms

Do I need an account?

Yes — checkout needs one, and it takes a minute: an email address you confirm, and a password. It is where your orders, pre-orders, addresses and wishlist live.

You can look up a receipt without signing in, with the order number and the email the order was placed with.

Can I change or cancel an order after placing it?

Write to us straight away with the order number. If it has not been packed we will do what we can. Once it has been dispatched it cannot be changed, and all sales are final — we do not accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind.

A pre-order deposit is not refundable if you change your mind, because our order with the maker was placed on the strength of yours.

Where do I enter a discount code?

At checkout, in the order summary. One code per order. A free-shipping code is refused when your delivery is already free, because there is nothing left for it to take off.

Pre-orders and deposits

How does a pre-order work?

A pre-order reserves a model that has not reached us yet. You pay a deposit now — the amount is set per listing and shown on the product page and at checkout before you pay — and the balance when the model arrives with us. A few listings are billed in full up front instead, and say so.

A pre-order closes on the cut-off date the listing shows, or, for a listing marked "while stock lasts", when our allocation is spoken for.

When and how do I pay the balance?

When the model reaches us we email you. That email starts the clock: the balance is due within 7 days of it, paid online from the link in the email or from the Pre-orders page of your account. If it goes unpaid we send 3 reminders, on days 2, 5 and 7 after the arrival email.

After the 7 days and all the reminders, we may release the model to someone else and the deposit for it is forfeited. That is never automatic — a person looks first, and in practice we wait beyond the deadline. If you need more time, or our email did not reach you, tell us: a deposit is never treated as forfeited because we failed to tell you.

Your pre-orders

I ordered an in-stock model together with a pre-order. When does it ship?

Together, when the pre-order arrives — one parcel, one delivery charge. At checkout you can choose two parcels instead: the in-stock model goes now, and the pre-order follows when it lands. The second parcel's delivery is quoted when the model reaches us and collected with the balance, shown before you pay.

The release date on my pre-order moved. What happens?

Release dates are the maker's, and they slip. We update the listing and your pre-orders page shows the current date. Your deposit keeps holding your unit for as long as it takes. If a model has not reached us within 12 months of its stated date, or the maker cancels it, we refund what you paid for it in full.

Shipping and delivery

Where do you ship, and what does it cost?

Across India, by courier. Delivery is priced on the parcel's weight and your pincode and shown at checkout before you pay. A listing marked free shipping adds nothing to the delivery charge, and from time to time a store-wide promotion waives it.

A few pincodes are not served by our courier. Checkout does not refuse them; if yours turns out to be one, we will contact you to arrange an alternative or refund you in full.

Shipping policy

How long does delivery take?

In-stock orders are packed and handed to the courier within 4–5 working days of the payment being confirmed. The courier's own transit time is on top of that and depends on where you are. A pre-order ships when the model reaches us and its balance is paid.

Dispatch times, in the shipping policy

How do I track my parcel?

The dispatch email carries the tracking number and a link, and your order page shows the parcel's current stage. Tracking can take a day to start updating after handover, which is normal.

Your orders

What if the parcel arrives damaged?

Write to us the day it arrives if you can, with photos of the outer box, the packaging and the model, and do not throw the packaging away. Optional transit cover can be added before you order if you want the parcel insured on the way; the terms explain what is covered without it.

The models

Are the models genuine and sealed?

Genuine, always: everything we sell is a genuine retail piece from the maker named on the listing, bought from the maker or its distributor. Some of those makers hold an official licence from the car brand and some do not — an unlicensed model is still that maker's own genuine release, not a copy of somebody else's, and the listing names the maker either way.

Sealed, usually: most pieces are sold as they left the factory. Some are sold unsealed — opened to check whether the piece is a chase, or because they reached us that way — and the listing says so, so you always know which you are buying.

Every piece is inspected before it is packed, sealed or not.

About us · Condition and packaging, in the terms

What do "chase" and "chase?" mean on a listing?

A chase is a rarer variant the maker seeds into a production run — a different colour, wheels or finish, in small numbers. A listing marked "chase" is a confirmed one: we opened the packaging to check, so it is sold unsealed and the listing says so. A listing marked "chase?" is a sealed standard piece from a run that contains chases: it might be one, and we cannot promise it, because that one has not been opened.

Condition, packaging and collectible variation

What does unsealed mean?

The packaging has been opened — usually to confirm a chase, sometimes because the piece reached us that way. The model itself is complete and untouched, the listing says unsealed, and you are buying the piece as described. If a factory seal matters to you, buy a listing that does not say unsealed.

Condition and packaging, in the terms

What do box, blister and acrylic case mean?

How the model is packaged by the maker. A box is a closed card box; a blister is the model visible under a plastic bubble on a card; an acrylic case is a clear display case the model ships in. It is shown on every listing because collectors care, and because it decides how the parcel is packed and weighed.

A model is sold out. Will it come back?

Sometimes — a cancelled order, a restock from the distributor, or a pre-order reopening. Add it to your wishlist and we will email you if it becomes buyable again. You can switch those emails off on your account page.
